Bio - A message from Adaure
Hi, I'm Adaure, a Nigerian artist based in London, specializing in figurative art expressed through painting.
I graduated from Central Saint Martins and am currently pursuing a BA in Fine Art Painting at Camberwell College of Arts. My immersion in the world of art has been profound and transformative.
My artistic journey began in childhood, where I spent countless hours drawing my favourite characters. My passion truly ignited when I started experimenting with colours using various mediums such as acrylics, oil pastels, watercolours, and gouache. A significant source of my inspiration comes from my mother, who is also a creative. Watching her integrate vibrant colours into her everyday life profoundly influenced my artistic direction.
My art typically explores themes of family and everyday life, drawing from my personal experiences. My Igbo heritage is a significant influence, driving me to portray how it intertwines with my family's life and resonates with broader audiences.
Thank you for visiting my site and supporting my art. I hope my work inspires and resonates with you.
Warm regards,
Adaure
